元商社マンから日本語教師、翻訳者、通訳者、漢英字典編纂者を経て独立。東京大学大学院博士課程修了、Ph.D（言語学）。言語類型論・語用論・構文論（英中日台）、タイヤル語の文法研究。興味ある言語は英語、中国語、台湾語、韓国語、フランス語、タイヤル語、広東語、その他オランダ/インドネシア/ベトナム/タイ/イタリア/イディッシュ/アラビア/ロシア語など。 「海外経験のない一般的な日本人が、外国語能力を身に付け、外国人と自然なコミュニケーションが図れるようになるためには、一体何をどのように実践したらよいのか、またどうすればそうした学習者を支援できるのだろうか」という思いで設立。企業向け語学研修・異文化研修を中心に、日系・外資を問わずあらゆる業種の企業に対して、学習者の語学力向上をサポート。 --- 聴きとれる英語力をつける
